Many have speculated what this event could be that St. Bridget refers to.
Some have speculated that it has to do with the New Mass, or perhaps Pope John Paul II allowing the Buddist statue in a tabernacle.
We believe, however, that it is the path of financial ruin through debt based money, seen beginning strongly around 1673 and culminating in the silver market crash of 1980.
